About Us
SAU#9 provides educational services for students in the Mount Washington Valley from Albany, Bartlett, Chatham, Conway, Eaton, Hart's Location, and Jackson, NH. At the 7th and 8th grade levels, students from Madison and Freedom enter our schools. By the time they reach the 9th grade, we also welcome students from Tamworth. The mission of SAU#9 is to cultivate the natural inclination to learn by providing an exceptional environment in which students embrace excellence in learning for a lifetime of success. We are committed to realizing the full potential of each and every student!

Watch as a group of incoming Conway Intermediate 4th Graders dive into an exciting STEM experience filled with hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity. This 4 day Summer Camp gave students the opportunity to build confidence and fluency through engaging math lessons each morning while afternoons provided a chance to partner with White Mountain Science Institute and continue their work in science and engineering! While students were busy exploring, creating, and challenging themselves, educators participated in professional learning designed to bring new ideas and experiences back to classrooms across the SAU #9 school district. Thank you to everyone who helped make this incredible week of fun, learning, and discovery possible!
