Transforming into a competency-based system will not be a linear experience, nor will it look the same from school to school. Educators in each building have established goals and priorities. As they move through the process they will set new goals and establish criteria they can use to monitor progress. As a district, we are paying close attention to not only the indicators of our work towards becoming competency-based, but also to the impact on our students. Realizing the full potential of each and every student is our ultimate goal.
