With much attention
now focused on H1N1, here is the latest as we
follow the State recommended procedures updated daily. As I have
written previously, please know that procedures could change due
to a changing set of conditions. There is an attached letter
outlining things you do at home to help out.
Thus far, we have not seen H1N1 at the John
Fuller School but since it so contagious and geographically
close that cases could occur at any time. We report all activity
to the State daily as they track the trends and severity.
We are reminding children at school of proper
cough etiquette, and frequent hand washing. Children and
teachers with symptoms of the flu should not come to school so
help limit it's spread.
We are waiting to hear about available
vaccines and whether or not schools will be used as vaccination
sites.
Working parents would be wise to have some
arrangement for ill children kept at home.
The State is not recommending use of masks at
this time. We will isolate ill children until they can be sent
home.

groups- 8-10 grade level enrichment groups are running allowing for advanced reading and writing opportunities.Read Aloud Lunch
Enriched Literacy Program
- Another set of grade level groups designed to expand already proficient reading and writing skills.Special thanks to Mrs. Kurtz and Mrs. Wall for these opportunities
