State of the Schools 2017 - "Eggs and Issues" April 6, 2017 Presentation to the MWV Economic Council
Volunteer & Substitute Information
All substitutes and volunteers in our schools must complete a criminal history records check through the state of NH Criminal Records Unit per RSA:189:13-a, with passing results received at the SAU office, BEFORE they will be allowed in schools or to participate as a volunteer for off campus activities (example: ESSC). Please come to the SAU office first to obtain a background check packet and get the required authorization form notarized. For printing, it is recommended to go to a state police barracks (example: Troop E), as this method is quicker. Please allow up to 4 weeks for background checks to be processed.
*Once a background check is completed as a volunteer or substitute, you will be added to the appropriate list and receive an annual assurance letter. Signing and returning the letter annually before the deadline, will keep you on the list without having to go through the background check process again.
